Bioblitz and Taster Course in Scything 10am til 3pm

Come and join us to rejoice in the Biodiversity of Nature. Look at small bugs and pond creatures with our digital microscope. Catch creatures using the insect net, find bugs under logs ….work with our experts and become citizen scientists (Family and adult).

Learn to manage nature gently. See how to make a Hazel fence from coppiced woods….and have a go at scything in our taster course (age 18 plus).

11am til 3pm Bioblitz with Sheila Standard (Bee Sanctuary), Stuart Fraser (Greater Manchester Ecology Unit)  plus friends

 10am  -12.30pm Scything Taster by Steve Tomlin 

1pm til 2pm Hazel fencing demonstration by Michael Loraine
